planning
Before starting, I like to think of all the possible routes the project could go. I draw from past projects of mine, inspirations, and new ideas from initial research. Essentially a short-winded brainstorming phase. Working on something is difficult until I have a good idea of what needs to be done and how. This is the best opportunity to give initial thoughts and ideas for how we want the project to go.
- Set everything out on the table
- Draw from past works and inspirations
- Communicate all main points and interests
[ 02 ]
concept & strategy
The most difficult, but rewarding process. While I find my groove with specific projects and assignments, I focus on getting a polished and safe product out first. Only after then, I experiment a little to see what clicks. I often try to give many iterations of drafts or prototypes, feedback is always appreciated and easiest to drastically fix in this stage.
- Storyboarding/Moodboard development
- Initial drafts/prototypes distributed & presented to clients
[ 03 ]
finalizing and delivery
This part of the process is my favourite. Once something has been created, I like receiving detailed feedback on what to change. As I already have everything figured out, and understand how to change specific things.
- Finishing touches
- Export and publish finalized product
